CSI Neepery
Having been at the farm a lot lately finishing the roof,
jgaleckas and I are behind on the various flavors of CSI, so we trudged over to Janice's daughter's place (She a child of TIVO) and caught up a bit.
CSI Miami - we finally saw the season premiere where Horatio is not dead (did anyone think he was at the end of last year??) and is trying to get the bad bullets off the streets. This episode was a bit lame as I didn't see the point in him being dead making a hoot of difference to the plot. And at the end the bad guy is killed but no body so you know he will be back - probably as a Two-Face type villain from Batman -what?
We also watch the episode where Delko's shrink is a victim and again the story was just OK. Is it just me or is this show about to jump the shark? I mean the acting is getting very forced, the plots are more about the team than the crime and if they put Delko and Callie in a relationship I am going to just gag. If this goes on there will be an extra hour open on my Monday night schedule.
CSI - The season opener was pretty good. It was great to see the whole gang together - except Warrick of course - and the emotion of Grissom as he finds out how much Warrick respected and loved him was very good. The story moved quickly and I liked that Nick did not shot the under sheriff even after being taunted. (This is where Miami has gone wrong - everyone over there justs shoots first and worries about it later.)
I still like this version best although we'll see after Grissom leaves and the character that Larry Fishburne plays works out.
CSI:NY - Saw the episode with the radiation poisoning. A solid episode that had the twists I expect from a CSI. The cast in this show has finally gelled and after a slow start has become my second favorite version. It took a while to get used to Gary Sinese's style but I like the plots and I like the characters.
Feel free to disagree.
